When NOT to have a serious discussion

My mother recently reminded me of the importance of being thankful for the things that did NOT happen. Sometimes it can be just as important to know when not to do something, what you don’t like, or what not to say. We are so often looking for the perfect thing to do, say, or way to be…when in reality, we might need to get better at knowing when to pause.
